At just nine years old, Ashna showcased her writing talent by winning a competition with her story "If I were six inches tall". She later received the editor's choice award for her poem "Tears of the Fountain", which was published in the anthology "Awaken to Dream".

In 1977, Ashna began studying witchcraft and received training from a highly respected magus in high magick for over 32 years. In 1980, she was initiated into a temple of Diana.

Four years later, Ashna became a priestess of Isis & Ishtar after being officially initiated into the Temple of Isis, earning her the title of Reverend. However, she prefers to go by the title of priestess.

Ashna has been featured on TV, radio, and in newspapers and magazines discussing witchcraft since 1980. In addition to her media appearances, she has written several books and continues to write short stories and blog writing about witchcraft.
